FinePix S1000fd Digital S. L. R. Camera Review

October 28th, 2009

The Fuji FinePix S1000fd is a super zoom 10 megapixel camera lens with a 12x optical zoom. Why buy the Fuji FinePix S1000fd? The FinePix S1000fd is a little less than most models Super Zoom. Much of the reason for this is that it has a shorter zoom and one or two features less than some of its competitors. The advantage of the FinePix S1000fd does not have all the bells and whistles, is that helps the camera easy to use. Image Quality Fuji Finepix S1000fd test shots Outdoor 1 (Medium Zoom) The Finepix S1000fd manages the colors and the darker areas of the picture too. I am impressed with the definition given in the name of one of the boats in the center of the photo. The sharpness is good too. Some detail is lost in the most brilliant of shooting, where the sun beats down on the boat. Outdoor 2 (No Zoom) Focusing is roughly in line with most digital cameras in this photo. In terms of approaching this is the track most difficult test. The more distant parts of the scene is softer, but most of the shot is strong enough. I like to have seen more clearly in the project. Outdoor 3 (Maximum Zoom) There is a wide band of turquoise shown here. It 'true that every super zoom have this problem (or more commonly purple fringing) in a measure, but this picture suggests the FinePix S1000fd suffers more than other more. This problem occurs in bright conditions with light color themes in the project. It is likely that the problem will be evident, even in small prints. With the goal of maximum extension of focus levels are more lenient than the average. Outdoor 4 (Building) This is another picture I wish I had seen a lighter touch. Shade is a loss of image definition. Sections brighter the picture is much sharper than when the zoom was full. Portrait of outdoor work much closer to the subject makes a very specific. The colors are very strong, but a lot of heat supplied to the photo. I used a white balance to shade to add a touch more for the colors in the second half. Indoor Portrait with Flash The pop-up flash unit produces a lot of shine. This is a clear picture. Maybe a little 'heat in most skin tones have improved the photo. Indoor Portrait without flash with natural light available FinePix S1000fd is able to produce a light, bright image. This method works well for the darker areas of the hair. Noise is well controlled in the project. Colors There are a lot of colors in my test shots without the camera is on top. With the strong blues and greens, which should help to produce colorful landscapes. Macro Super Macro mode, the FinePix S1000fd is able to approach a subject. This helps to provide a bright, clear image detail. In fact this macro photo is very well against other similar digital cameras. ISO 400 and ISO 1600 Fuji digital cameras tend to handle the higher ISO settings, as well as or better than other brands. This is the case of the FinePix S1000fd. Even if the noise is still evident in the shadows darker or the shooting of the camera noise control better handle multiple cameras. Overall I'm quite happy with the Finepix S1000fd. Ironically, the problem is a blow when the zoom is fully extended. This, after all, is the image key test for this camera. I also found some of my photos to feel a little 'dark. Shutter lag just take a picture with the FinePix S1000fd recorded a reasonable period of time of 0.42 seconds. All my other tests produced slow times. Five photographs taken 19.63 seconds, a photo flash of 1.68 seconds and five photos 20.47 seconds with flash. It took 3.08 seconds to turn on the camera and take a picture. You can compare this camera with other models to look at the shutter lag Table.Style comparison: The FinePix S1000fd is small for a super zoom. Like most of its competitors was the model of a digital SLR. Dimensions: 102.5 x 73 x 67.8 mm Weight: 325g Battery: Four AA batteries. Memory cards: 24 MB of free space to start with the FinePix S1000fd. I was able to store 11 photos before the memory is full. To increase the capacity, if the memory card you can use xD, SD and SDHC cards.Ease use rating: Above average. With the additional features of the FinePix S1000fd manual is not so easy to take and implement a more direct point and shoot camera. The reason that earns a greater ease of use the average rating is that compared to other similar cameras, you probably deal with that part that I like quicker.Points: easier than other super zoom – compact size, type of camera, that could improve the recovery with the zoom fully extended disappointing alternative to try a super zoom digital camera with a goal of more, better overall image quality, and one or two things more to try the Nikon Coolpix P80. Verdict: The Fuji FinePix S1000fd has better things quite well, besides taking pictures with the zoom fully extended. It's so easy to use as any super zoom camera and is also relatively compact.
