Buy a digital camera to replace your old film camera

October 24th, 2009

I am very cautious when it comes to buying my new toys. I do not buy every new gadget that comes out, but when I bought it – I have the latest technology and highest quality you can afford. That way my investment holds its value for a long time and I have tried to replace so soon.
I have not bought a digital camera, when for the first time. All I could do was take a 1-megapixel model without optical zoom. Maybe a good replacement for the disposable cardboard you get at the supermarket, but I preferred the image quality from my (now 20 years), Nikon 35mm SLR film camera.
When I finally bought a digital camera a few years ago, I took some used Olympus 2.1 megapixel digital camera with a 3x optical zoom autofocus. At that time, it was a good value as you can get to buy a digital camera, but the technology is what it is – is now considered an average level of consumption of the camera.
Well, while I am still happy with my Nikon film base, I thought of buying a new digital camera a few months ago. This is because I saw the incredible pictures that my friends have taken with their cameras, and I want to be able to get the same results. And, I'm using my 35mm SLR much less these days just because it's much easier to use my digital camera, and I have a bag full of movie I never found the time was developed. It's time to buy a new digital camera which actually replaces the 35mm camera.
To that end, I read the guides and reviews of digital cameras to achieve exactly what to look for buying a digital camera. This research is very useful for assessing what the cameras are easy to use, produce high quality photos are loaded with features, and are the best opportunities. In fact, these resources make the task of buying a digital camera easier than I thought it would.
Since I did all this research before, I am ready to make my purchase, now that I've decided to buy a digital camera is right for me. I read about people who are special offers from online stores, so that, where I have a first glance. Also read the comments of the store as part of my research to buy a digital camera, so I know which websites are reliable and what to avoid. As a result, I will be able to complete my purchase, without a single problem.
Now that I've decided I just can not remember what stopped me from buying a new digital camera for a long time! I can not wait to get it, so you can play with the settings, and test the functionality available in several new digital cameras. If you ask me, this is the photo as it should be.
If you're considering buying a digital camera, I recommend you go ahead and do it as soon as possible. You'll be surprised how easy it is to take pictures with this type of equipment and how much better the images are.

So what is happening in the world of digital cameras?
If you're in the market for a new digital camera and not looked at them for a while ', there will be a surprise. It 'another world out there.
Super Zoom Digital Cameras
First, the super zoom digital cameras have become more powerful. Many have an optical zoom of 24 and some even go higher. Wow … what fun. The higher the magnification the more you can extend for sports, nature photography or whatever you want, the first floor of a stroke.
Wide Angle Cameras
Have become more wide angles too. 35 mm, while it used to be the norm, now 28 mm was found to be quite common. Some go even wider than that. I'm talking about regular point and shoot cameras, digital SLR cameras, not with their own specialized lenses.
Without cameras high ISO noise
ISO settings have been much higher as well. ISO 3200 / No problem. You can easily find the cameras with this configuration. The trick, however, choose one that will not create a lot of noise with the highest settings and now there are some that will be.
Megapixel
It's so easy today to find both cheap and expensive cameras with a minimum of 10 megapixels and often 12. This is advantageous if a large quantity of crop images, as there are still many megapixels for a good detail and resolution.
Face Detection
Face Detection is something that many digital cameras offer. With this feature, a camera detects a face, concentrate on it and choose the best exposure. This is useful if you're shooting groups of people in particular.
Automatic configuration of scenes
Before it was just automatic. So camera makers of scene modes, where you can choose the best scene coincided with what you are taking. For example, if you were shooting a landscape, which is elected in landscape mode and the camera automatically adjusts all settings
Now there are automatic scene modes. Do not even need to choose the scene … the camera is not in terms of what you're shooting!
Maybe next time, can not sit on the porch with a drink and see something and say voice command for the camera to shoot!
Image Stabilization
To eliminate or reduce the effects of hand movement, look for a camera with image stabilization. It works to reduce or eliminate blur.
Video Recording
Being able to record video cameras has been around. However, now you can play games in high definition and on a large screen TV.
Many of these features have become run of the mill. You can find them in most new cameras. Also ….
The prices of digital SLRs have dropped in price. Now you get much more in a camera for the same price that was used to pay. Cámaras hibridas han Aparecida. These cameras are among the point and shoot cameras and digital SLR cameras. They have interchangeable lenses, but are much smaller and lighter weight.
Choosing a camera based on the features you use most, or who has most of the above. This type of camera is hard to find and not too expensive either.
