Digital camera Samsung NV24HD

October 23rd, 2009

The Samsung NV24HD is a 10 megapixel compact camera. Has a wide angle 3.6x optical zoom. The HD part of its name comes from the fact that you can take pictures and movies for playback on a series of high-definition television. Why buy the Samsung NV24HD? The Samsung NV24HD includes a number of features the latest buzz, as high-definition movies and the ability to automatically take a picture when it detects a smile to someone. In addition to all this is the wide angle lens, a manual exposure mode and the ability to reduce and possibly eliminate red eye. All these features are available in a package of clean and orderly. Image Quality Samsung NV24HD test shots Outdoor 1 (Medium Zoom), the NV24HD is reduced to a promising start. The focus is good, especially in the central part of the picture. There is a loss of sharpness towards the edges, but this is only a problem with large prints. The colors look good. Outdoor 2 (n), zoom digital cameras with wide angle lenses may find it difficult to focus when you're zooming. This is because it is difficult to build a perfect quality of the lens so small and cheap. In general, the NV24HD is good, but the softer approach toward the edges once again in evidence. Outdoor 3 (Maximum Zoom) The disadvantage of a wide angle objective is that it eliminates some of the features of the telephoto lens. In other words, the target is able to approach other 3.6x zoom lenses. The focus is in line with my first two photos. There is a loss of detail in dark areas of photos. This is particularly evident under the trees to the left of center. Outdoor 4 (Building), I'm happy with the sharpness of the picture when the subject was at a distance. Even if, as in the first three shots clearly becomes softer that moves toward the edges of the photo. Portrait of external brightness and focus are good, but the insurance NV24HD putting a lot of color in this picture. The red / orange color is exaggerated for my tastes. Indoor Portrait with Flash If something is too bright in this shot as flash dominates and covers some of the details. As the portrait of the outer skin tones with pink are exaggerated. Indoor Portrait without flash, without flash of the camera produces a more natural looking photos. I prefer the picture with flash, although the shades of pink skin could be lowered again. My Colors colors special evidence of the camera is capable of bold colors, vibrant. If something red tends to have the advantage here. This may go some way to explain the intensity of skin tones in my photographs. Macro when it comes to the amount of detail shown in the macro NV24HD shot very well. My original had a shot macro blue color and the only way to get rid of it was to use one of the custom white balance settings. You should be aware of this, if you are looking for a digital camera that you can always use the automatic configuration. The fire could also be done with a touch of brightness. ISO 1600 ISO 400 and higher ISO settings, the results are pretty standard. At 400 ISO noise is not much of a problem in the lighter areas of a photo, but we have seen in shadow or darker areas. The ISO 1600 image quality in all areas of combat. Perhaps the NV24HD is generally not the best camera on the market, but a decent job in many situations. To take full advantage of this camera, in terms of image quality may have to work with the camera settings. The delay time of shutter delay was better than most digital cameras management. A single photo took 0.23 seconds and five took 7.43 seconds. With the flash turned on times were still impressive, taking a single photo in 0.45 seconds and five photos taking 12.53 seconds. Start up time was another point. To activate the camera and take a picture has 2.2 seconds. You can compare this camera with other models to look at the shutter lag Table.Style comparison: The design of this range of digital cameras from Samsung is different from other brands. There is a raised area on the front grip and the lens unit also excels. The camera is available in black and silver.Dimensions: 98.5 x 61 x 27 mm Weight: 145.5g Battery: Lithium Ion. Samsung provides a battery and charging cable with the cards NV24HD.Memory: Approximately 16 MB of storage have been incorporated into the camera. This is enough for about 9 pictures. To increase the storage capacity that can use both SD and SDHC. Ease of use rating: Very good. The menu system used is unique to Samsung. I must admit that takes some 'getting used to but once mastered it is quick and easy to find and edit settings.Points I like: System Menu – Home and shutter lag time that could be improved: A few issues color Alternatives It is not easy to get to other digital cameras with features similar to those NV24HD. Another compact model with the bells and whistles more than normal is the Panasonic DMC-FX 500. Verdict: The Samsung NV24HD is a bit 'different than most other compact digital cameras. It has some extra features, useful as manual exposure control and high-definition movies. The picture quality is good, without really challenging the best cameras. The shutter speed GAL are also very good.

Nikon Coolpix S550 Digital Camera Review

October 23rd, 2009

The Nikon Coolpix S550 is a 10 megapixel digital camera with a 5x optical zoom. Small enough to slip into the pocket more. Why buy the Nikon Coolpix S550? If you like the idea of a smaller camera, but I want some power zoom pocket compact then the Coolpix S550 offers many can fit the bill. Moreover, the scores and the ease of use and comes with many of the more popular features like image stabilization and Face Detection for clearer portraits. Image Quality Nikon Coolpix S550 test shots Outdoor 1 (Medium Zoom) One thing I like about digital cameras, Nikon is the combination of color and brightness. This helps to produce images more vibrant saw my first test shot. There is a small amount of the loss of details of vessels on the right image. This problem can only become a problem if you plan to make multiple copies. Outdoor 2 (No Zoom) This is another worthy effort. Again, like the colors of the photo. Because of the distant scene, this is a difficult approach shot, but the Coolpix S550 handles the scene well enough. Outdoor 3 (Maximum Zoom) with the zoom fully utilized focus is not so acute as in the first two photos. The picture is much softer, as we move towards the edges. This is particularly evident in the trees and bushes on the right side of the photo. Outdoor 4 (capacity) for my outdoor scenic shots I have a problem with the zoom options offered by Nikon digital cameras. Most other cameras offer the ability to select multiple focus points. This means that the camera will select a large number of points throughout the picture and see that they are in focus. My belief is that this helps to produce vaccines is the type of landscape where strong attention for most of the photos. Nikon normally do not offer this option and, instead of using the autofocus mode when the camera decides to focus on areas that you want. In this scene, concentrating on new results, particularly on the right side. This may or may not be a problem for you. This depends on the type of photographs you take and whether or not to go to make prints larger than the standard snapshot. Portrait of outdoor work more closely with the object of all the issues has been given. There are a lot of color in skin tones and this suggests the Coolpix S550 can produce your beautiful family photo album. Indoor Portrait without Flash This is a great effort. It 'possible that he could be a bit brighter, but overall the picture works well. Indoor Portrait with Flash with flash, the image is surprisingly not very bright. Even if the flash is used, the COOLPIX S550 is able to store large amounts of color in the photograph. As mentioned earlier the colors I like the colors produced by the Coolpix S550. In fact, when it comes to reproduce the colors in the photos, the Nikon is one of my favorite brand. Macro have no problems with the quality of macro photography, but be aware that this Nikon digital camera can focus only once 10 centimeters away from the subject. This may not seem like much, but it means a shot closer should be cut to maintain a strict truth. ISO 400 and 1600 The Coolpix S550 handles very well the noise at ISO 400. It is only in shaded areas where the problem becomes apparent. As ISO 1600, noise can be seen through the image. Overall, if you could do better with a few shots at a distance of more testing, I would be very happy with the Coolpix S550. Shutter lag was a single photo on the slack side (0.59 seconds without flash, 1.72 seconds with flash). Reeling off a pair of consecutive shots was better (9.83 seconds for 5 shots without flash, 12.20 seconds for 5 shots with the flash). It took 2.62 seconds to turn on the camera and take a picture. You can compare this camera with other models to look at the shutter lag Table.Style comparison: The Coolpix S550 is a simple, no-nonsense digital camera. It 'a fairly standard rectangular shape. Available in blue, black and plumb.Dimensions: 51 x 88 x 22 mm Weight: 120gBatteries: lithium battery. Both the battery and charger supplied with the camera. Nikon believes that it must be able to take about 220 shots between tabs charges.Memory: Nikon has built a generous 52 MB of space on the Coolpix S500. This is a lot to give the camera a thorough test. I managed to take 31 pictures before the memory is full. To improve the storage capacity of the House should take a SD or SDHC memory card. Ease of use rating: Very good. As with Nikon digital cameras generally do not require much time to find your way around. The design of the menu is simple and clear.Points I like: Ease of useWhere could improve: Soft is focused on another simple alternative scenes shots, pocket camera with 10 megapixels and 5x optical zoom and the Sony DSC W170. Verdict: The Nikon Coolpix S550 is an effective, pocket-sized digital camera. Taking pictures in bright colors. I would have seen greater sharpness in my scenic test shots, but otherwise have no real complaints. The Coolpix S550 also scores and ease of use. Front

Olympus SP 570 UZ Digital Camera Review

October 23rd, 2009

The Olympus SP-570 is a 10-megapixel digital camera with a 20x optical zoom. This is the goal longest currently available in a consumer digital camera. Why buy the Olympus SP-570? I think stating the obvious when I say that the main attraction of the SP-570 is the long zoom. This zoom lengths, typically comes useful for wildlife and sports themes. Besides the length of the lens, the camera also has manual exposure control. For those that are used to provide an SLR camera you might be interested to know that the objective is maximized by turning the lens tube instead of the more typical method of pressing the buttons on the back of the camera. As expected with a lens of this size, the SP-570 has image stabilization. The lens has a focal length equivalent to 26 – 520 millimeters in 35mm format. This makes the wide-angle lens makes it ideal for capturing large range as the landscapes. The camera also has a range of manual exposure controls. Therefore, this camera is a good choice for those who see photography as a hobby.Image for Olympus SP-570 test shots Outdoor 1 (Medium Zoom) The SP-570 is responsible for safety and light colors in this picture with a lots of detail shown in the boat and also in white wooden slats under the roof of the building. There are also shown impressive levels of detail in some areas lighter shade. Attention is strong with the bricks of the building and stand out. The colors have a softer touch to them than many digital cameras that I tried recently. Outdoor 2 (No Zoom) This is just another effort. Stands sharpness and light of the distance between the camera and the scene. You can also see the benefits of wide angle lens with a lot of scene that shows the capture. Outdoor 3 (Maximum Zoom) with the zoom to its maximum capacity purple fringing is evident. This is more of a problem when shooting with the light colored objects in the scene as the vessels in the recovery test. As with many cameras, offering extreme length of the lens focus loses some 'of its sharpness when the lens is fully extended. Outdoor 4 (Building) This test launch of the SP-570 cope well with the scene. I hope the image is sharp and the car has no problems focusing on the bricks of the building. Outdoor Portrait, no problems with sharpness or color in this picture. If you find that the result is darker in the shadow of what I like, then you can try using the flash to lighten these areas. Indoor Portrait with Flash This is another effort very specific. The flash is very powerful and very clearly shows areas of the face. Indoor Portrait without flash To me this is the image most impressive of all my test shots. The SP-570 is capable of using light to produce a vaccine available, natural looking. The brightness and sharpness are better than the vast majority of cameras are able to manage. This is one of the advantages of working with a camera that has a large size of the lens. In most cases the colors, the colors produced by this camera Olympus is quieter and less bustling than most of the products of other brands. There are cases where I'd like to have seen the strongest colors, but this is a matter of personal taste. Macro This is another occasion when I was struck by the amount of light the camera is able to view the photos. Levels of detail is good without being drawer. A touch of purple fringing also shows where the light catches the edge of the clock. My ISO 400 and ISO 1600 test shots, both ISO 400 and ISO 1600 are fairly typical levels of noise. If you push ISO above these levels, it becomes a really serious problem. Overall Overall I'm quite happy. The quality of the images that impressed me in most situations. Shutter lag a single photo took 0.52 seconds, with five taking 12.23 seconds. Turning the flash times to 1.35 seconds for a single photo and 14.59 seconds for five. I like to have seen times faster than all the evidence. He took the camera and 3.05 seconds to capture the first photo. You can compare this camera with other models to look at the shutter lag Table.Style comparison: The SP-570 is more than just a reflex like feel than any other compact digital camera that I can recall test. Feels very solid in your hand and looks like a SLR camera. It 'available in black.Dimensions: 118.5 x 84 x 87.5 mm Weight: 445g Battery: Four AA batteries are required for cards camera.Memory: The camera is compatible with xD cards. Olympus has built up enough memory for the SP-570 can store about 21 photos.Ease use rating: Very good. To get the most from your digital camera thisOlympus have to spend a lot of time working with the camera and get used to all the checks that the car offers. Olympus has done a good job in placing controls within easy reach. There is a control line on top of the camera and dedicated keys for the focus and lock exposure, continuous shooting and a switch to select manual or automatic focusing.Points I like: It looks good – the quality of construction — Management – When the image quality could be improved: shutter lag could be faster Alternatives Although a growing number of lenses longer and longer on the market, the goal that I have tested longer before SP – 570 states 18x zoom. Camera I suggest you check out the Nikon Coolpix P80.Verdict: The Olympus SP-570 operates more like a digital SLR than any other camera that I tried. I like the gun by turning the zoom method. Add in a shoe, RAW mode and various manual controls and a very good camera for a photo enthusiast.

Panasonic DMC FX35 Digital Camera Review

October 23rd, 2009

The Panasonic DMC FX35 is a 10 megapixel digital camera with a 4x optical zoom. The lens is the widest angle I have tried. Why buy the Panasonic DMC FX35? The broad objective angle is useful if you want to squeeze more width in a photo. For example, this may be due to the pictures of scenery or a group of people. This digital camera from Panasonic is also easy to use, small enough to fit in a pocket and looks good too. The picture quality is definitely above average. Image Quality Panasonic DMC FX35 test shots Outdoor 1 (Medium Zoom) started with a pleasant and colorful pictures. I like the blue sky and the dark green of the trees. There is a slight loss of detail, which gives the sun from ships. Outdoor 2 (No Zoom) Because of the range-angle lens was the capture of great interest to me. I see the impact of the lens, as soon as I see in the picture. With a normal lens, the bungalow on the left hand does not always manage to infiltrate the image. Here the entire building is in sight. Given the wide angle lens approach is good. There is a loss of light in the corners of the photo. Outdoor 3 (Maximum Zoom) Once again, the FX35 DMC produces a decent effort. The sharpness is good and the color balance works well. Outdoor 4 (Building) This is my opportunity to test the key focus. This Panasonic digital camera handles well the test, especially considering this was shot with the zoom, more or less fully extended. Compare well with the pictures taken with other cameras. Balance Outdoor Portrait in white with the shadow adds a lot of color to the picture. I like this photo. Has a warm and the camera focuses well. Indoor Portrait with Flash The DMC FX35 can include plenty of details in the project. Maybe a little 'more light to enter the darkest areas of the shot, like the hair have become even better. Indoor Portrait without Flash This is a useful exercise. If I was picky, I would say that I like a little 'more light on camera too. Panasonic color camera produces vivid colors. There is plenty of evidence of that the second shot outside. If you like bright colors, it will be like the colors this camera produces. I am very happy with the macro shot macro. The DMC FX35 manages to come up with a lot of detail and the image is very specific. ISO 400 and ISO 1600 test produces a result in line with most digital cameras. At ISO 400 noise is evident in the photo, but at an acceptable level. Any superior picture quality really suffers. For best results I would suggest selecting the Intelligent ISO setting to take pictures in low light when flash can not be used or when it comes to freeze the action. General FX35 DMC spent most of my tests. I have no real problems with picture quality and is done most of his rivals. Shutter lag with the flash of my time was 0.37 seconds for a single shot and 12.76 seconds for five. With flash on times were similar. They were 0.42 seconds for a single shot and 13.08 seconds for five. N. Flash times are averaged. With the flash on the times are fast compared to other similar cameras. You can compare this camera with other models to look at the GAL Table.Style comparison shot: This is a bit 'stylish compact digital camera. Has a very clean and comes in black, blue and silver.Dimensions: 94.7 x 51.9 x 22 mm Weight: 125g Battery: Lithium Ion. Panasonic supplies both a battery and charger with the DMC FX35 as standard. Memory cards: The memory of 50 MB is a liberal. This is sufficient for about 13 photos. The camera is also compatible with SD and SDHC. Ease of use rating: Very good. Like all digital cameras, Panasonic DMC FX35 is quite simple. The menu system is clear and easy to read.Points I like: Ease of use – widescreen – High Angle LCD screen – design – When the image quality could be improved: the brightness a bit 'more for testing alternatives internal quality pocket cameras include the Canon IXUS 80 IS and Canon IXUS 85 IS. Verdict: If I were looking for a pocket camera would certainly consider the Panasonic DMC FX35. When it comes to image quality is good all round, wide angle objective is a great advantage for landscapes and groups of people.

Panasonic DMC FX500 Digital Camera Review

October 23rd, 2009

The Panasonic DMC FX500 is a 10 megapixel digital camera with a 5x optical zoom. It has more features than any other pocket sized camera I have reviewed. Why buy the Panasonic DMC FX500? If you are looking for a feature-rich pocket camera then you will be delighted by the DMC FX500. It has manual exposure controls, a wide angle lens, high definition movies and a large screen of 3 inches. A number of options to control touch screen. In addition to these features there is also the title of image stabilization, a scenario to make it easier to see the LCD when the camera is to help about eye level and in parentheses. You can also increase the amount of zoom available when shooting at lower resolutions. Image Quality Panasonic DMC FX500 test shots Outdoor 1 (Medium Zoom) The DMC FX500 is not particularly when handling the lighter colors in the second half. This camera is able to view the details of the ships that operate most of the cameras. When it comes to colors blue and green have a natural environment for them. The focus is sharp, without hitting the same levels as the covenants of better management. Outdoor 2 (No Zoom) This scene is a tough test for a camera with a broader objective such as this. In terms of setting the camera is good, although a small number of retirements in the light and brightness, as we move towards the edges. Outdoor 3 (Maximum Zoom) With the goal of maximum extension in the DMC FX500 is not good enough when it comes to focus, but has earned a place in the top quarter of pocket cameras. Outdoor 4 (Building) My final exam is another proof that the expectations of the external camera is able to concentrate. Based on this set of clues about the DMC FX500 does not match well enough, without the best. I would give it 7.5 out of 10 to concentrate on the distance. Outdoor Portrait No problems here. Focus is good with the camera is much closer to the subject. The color in more after the break helps create a warm portrait. I think the DMC FX500 does well to find the details in dark areas of the photo. Indoor Portrait with Flash, flash, even in DMC FX500 manages to keep the color in the second half. In this picture works for me. Again no problem with the sharpness of the picture. Indoor Portrait without Flash I would have liked to see more brightness and definition in this picture. Due DMC FX500 not be able to pull enough light in the shot noise begins to creep This has the advantage over the definition of the vaccine. Although not a bad effort I prefer the indoor portrait with flash. Colors Over time it seems that Panasonic digital cameras have mitigated the colors that produce a notch or two. I think this is a good thing that the colors have a more natural look for them. This macro is a decent picture macro. I would say that puts the DMC FX500 in the top 25 percent of compact digital cameras for the photos closely. ISO 400 and ISO 1600 There is nothing unusual for me further proof of the ISO standard. Noise is also in the lighter areas of shooting 400 ISO. Noise levels are increased in the darker areas of the photo. At 1600 ISO the noise is a problem in all sectors. Maybe not in general, up there with the Pocket much better, but still a worthwhile exercise. The shutter lag DMC FX500 has produced a series of shutter lag times, which were on the slow part of the media. The time was 0.44 seconds for a single photo and 15.48 seconds for five photos. With the flash turned on times increased to 0.54 seconds for a single photo and 17.5 seconds for five photos. It took 3.08 seconds to turn on the camera and take a picture. You can compare this camera with other models to look at the Table.Style shutter lag comparison seems prudent enough DMC FX500 is a pocket-sized digital camera. Available in black and silver. Dimensions: 94.9 x 57.1 x 22.9 mm Weight: 155g Battery: Lithium Ion. Panasonic supplies both a battery and charger with the DMC FX500 as a standard. Panasonic believes that it must be able to take about 280 shots between tabs charges.Memory: 50 MB of storage is built into the camera. I managed to take 16 photos before it was full. The DMC FX500 is also compatible with SD and SDHC memory cards. Ease of use rating: Very good. Taking into account all the components inside the Panasonic DMC FX500 did a great job of making the camera easy to use as possible. Points I like: Ease of use – high-definition movies – High Angle LCD screen – design – manual exposure controls – Touch-screen controls, which could improve the brightness a bit 'more about some of the alternatives picture as DMC FX500 is separate when it comes to features that you can not choose another pocket camera, which represents a real alternative. Another more basic pocket camera is worth a look is the Canon IXUS 90 IS. Verdict: There is no doubt that the Panasonic DMC FX500 is an impressive camera with regard to the number of components in compact body. The picture quality is too good and all in all it was a very good Panasonic digital camera.

Digital Camera Review – Let the buyer has to say!

October 23rd, 2009

This is the first in a series of articles that will highlight individual products through the submission of comments, by the people who bought them and actually use every day. We will present three tests of a similar problem and give an overview of each, and the approximate price path. We are in no way support any particular point. The products have been chosen from among the current hot products and best sellers.
Topic of today: small compact Point & Shoot Cameras.Canon PowerShot SD1000 Digital 7.1 Megapixel Digital Camera
Street price around $ 170.00
Pros: Compact, Bright LCD, Comfortable Controls, a good value for money, easy to use, durable, good quality images,
Cons: You can not adjust fast enough for low light images.
This is a case. Small memory card.
Biggest complaint seems to be that Canon should have included a 1 or 2 GB SD card. It comes with a card of 32 MB of memory. With the cards being so cheap it would not make a significant difference in cost and probably would have made a real "5" rating.
The buyer in Philadelphia, PA 6/8/07
"In the past I owned a Canon SD400, 500, 600, 630, and the Rebel XTi. The SD1000 is a good value for what you get. The only thing that I like the Canon SD series is that the optical / digital zoom is not that great, but for the price is a bargain. Especially now that the SD1000 has 7.1 MP. The SD1000 has more than a box of aspect than other SD series cameras, but pleasant, with a large LCD screen. good camera overall. "
The buyer of Beavercreek, Ohio 5:26:07
"The machine is easy to use, requires great pictures and is very easy to use. There are many options can be configured so that it may take some time to familiarize yourself with all the features … but worth the price. " Fujifilm FinePix A800 8.3 Megapixel Digital Camera
Street price around $ 140.00
Pros: The quality is compared with the highest score Fujifilm F31fd. Easy to use. It comes with 1GB of memory and chance. Good for a BEGINER.
Cons: No viewfinder. Tire under the light could be better, the delay time slow. Not the best for a quick shot.

"Wonderful pictures of a camera cheap (130USD). Basically equivalent in quality of Fujifilm F31fd high scores, only 8 megapixel (6). Noise reduction is consumed at the edges and details, but overall a great performance unmatched by other pacts. home, zoom, autofocus, zoom and video playback in particular are slow. Not the best for a quick shot.

"It 'a great camera for this price, if you want to stay outside during the day, no complaints from me if the use during the night. Video excpected much better, not a bad camera. "Sony Cyber-shot W55 Digital Camera, 7.2 Megapixel
Retail price of around U.S. $ 150.00 – $ 180.00
Pros: Excellent macro function. It has a viewfinder .* Sturdy. Long battery life.
Cons: You must purchase a memory card. Low light / indoor pictures could be better.
* Even if it has a viewfinder that is a plus, unfortunately, is not that accurate for close-ups.

"The Sony DSC-W55 is a jewel in the sub-$ 200 class of digital cameras! Surpass many cameras that a large part of the costs, in particular the macro function that is mind blowing. Just put the lens on top of an object, concentrate on, and shoot and capture every single detail just exactly perfect !…"

"This camera is great in comparison with the side of those who have bought 3 years ago for about $ 100 more. It takes decent pictures and is a Sony so you have the mark of reliability. The result is having to buy a memory card if you want more than a few photos at once with the internal memory … "
Prices for digital cameras have decreased significantly, while the quality has improved. It was not long ago that a 2.3-megapixel camera was the norm.
Now 7.8 is average.
Selecting the right camera for you depends on what you want from your camera. If you just want to pull the family or vacation snapshots probably can not go wrong with one of these. However, if under much more sophisticated, then you probably should consider the type of SLR cameras.

Ricoh R8 Digital Camera Review

October 23rd, 2009

The Ricoh R8 is a 10 megapixel digital camera. It has a 7.1x wide-angle objective. The design is different from the normal digital cameras around, with a retro elegance. Why buy the Ricoh R8? The R8 is a step forward from simple point and shoot cameras. This is true when it comes to quality construction and image quality. Features include image stabilization, a 2.7-inch LCD screen (I found it easier to view even in sunlight) and a value of face recognition for portraits. Also has an option for the production of quality photos Ricoh R8 Test photos.Image outdoor square 1 (Medium Zoom) This is a shot with a lot of contrast. There are the bright areas of the boats and wooden slats under the roof of the building. There are many shady areas under trees. The R8 can play an impressive level of detail, especially in areas where clearer than many cameras. This helps the detail of the vessels are highlighted. Outdoor 2 (No Zoom) This photo stands out clearly and then the scene also shows the colors. Many digital cameras tend to lose sharpness when the lens is fully extended, but is facing the camera with the scene better than most cameras manage. Outdoor 3 (Maximum Zoom) As with the first firing test of the colors of light on the boats are well managed. There is a very small amount of purple fringing, but in my opinion, the R8 handles very well when taking into account the most standard zoom. Focus is again above average. Outdoor 4 (Building) The R8 does very well in this test. The brick building is very specific. Even in the shadows of the camera does a good job. When it comes to focusing the R8 is the height of the best compact digital cameras. Outdoor Portrait Looking at this picture I see that the colors are strong. That's fair enough, if you like strong colors, but are a bit 'too strong for my taste. Otherwise, the level of detail than the R8 can choose from is impressive. Indoor Portrait with Flash The sharpness of this picture is very good and eyes R8 very well chooses. The skin tones are exaggerated. These are areas of the cheeks and nose bright pink does not exist. This can also be seen on the lips. Indoor Portrait without flash when I saw the photo with the flash I felt the issue of skin tone may have been up to the light produced by the flash. Even with the flash skin tones are difficult. Otherwise, the picture is fine, but could do with a touch of extra brightness. Colors The colors produced by the R8 has a different feeling to them than those produced by most digital cameras I tried. They are certainly alive and has the brightness too much. In some cases the power of color is too much for me. Macro This is another example of a very precise shot with a lot of definition. The R8 is well above average when it comes to close shots. ISO 400 and ISO 1600 to ISO 400 should still be able to take a decent picture in bright conditions, but the darker areas attracting noise. The image quality is broken even more than usual in ISO 1600. In general I found the focus and definition that in some way above average. Contrast scenes R8 also managed well. The colors are very strong and I would rather see these colors in several of my test shots. The shutter lag time of shutter lag is 0.34 seconds for a single photo and 8.98 seconds for five photos. With flash times increased to 0.51 seconds for a shot and 14.4 seconds for five shots. All these times are standard. It took 2.36 seconds to turn the R8 and take a picture. This is consistent with most digital cameras that I tried recently. You can compare this camera with other models to look at the shutter LAG comparison Table.Style Ricoh R8 has a bit 'of an antique look. This helps you stand out from the crowd. Available in black, silver and two tone version.Dimensions: 102 x 58.3 x 26.1 mm Weight: 168g Battery: Ricoh believes that it must be able to get about 270 photos before the lithium ion battery should be recharged. Both the battery and charger supplied with the card R8.Memory: 24 MB of memory is integrated into the R8. This is enough for about 7 photos. The camera is also compatible with SD and SDHC. Ease of use rating: Good. There are one or two things in more to get used to a confrontation with a point more than the basic model and shoot. If you intend to use the R8 as a fully automatic camera, then it should be up and running in no time.Points I like: the clarity of the LCD screen – new design – When the sharpness could be improved skin tones in portraits alternatives there are that many digital cameras that seem to me a clear alternative to the R8. Another 10-megapixel cameras with wide angle lens are: Samsung NV24HD. Verdict: I like the Ricoh R8. And 'certainly worth considering along with some of the most widely recognized brands such as Canon, Sony and Panasonic. Apart from some problems with the R8 takes a color photo in situations more dignified.
