Olympus SP 570 UZ Digital Camera Review

The Olympus SP-570 is a 10-megapixel digital camera with a 20x optical zoom. This is the goal longest currently available in a consumer digital camera. Why buy the Olympus SP-570? I think stating the obvious when I say that the main attraction of the SP-570 is the long zoom. This zoom lengths, typically comes useful for wildlife and sports themes. Besides the length of the lens, the camera also has manual exposure control. For those that are used to provide an SLR camera you might be interested to know that the objective is maximized by turning the lens tube instead of the more typical method of pressing the buttons on the back of the camera. As expected with a lens of this size, the SP-570 has image stabilization. The lens has a focal length equivalent to 26 – 520 millimeters in 35mm format. This makes the wide-angle lens makes it ideal for capturing large range as the landscapes. The camera also has a range of manual exposure controls. Panasonic DMC FX35 Digital Camera Review

The Panasonic DMC FX35 is a 10 megapixel digital camera with a 4x optical zoom. The lens is the widest angle I have tried. Why buy the Panasonic DMC FX35? The broad objective angle is useful if you want to squeeze more width in a photo. For example, this may be due to the pictures of scenery or a group of people. This digital camera from Panasonic is also easy to use, small enough to fit in a pocket and looks good too. The picture quality is definitely above average. Panasonic DMC FX500 Digital Camera Review

If you are looking for a feature-rich pocket camera then you will be delighted by the DMC FX500. Pros: Compact, Bright LCD, Comfortable Controls, a good value for money, easy to use, durable, good quality images,

Biggest complaint seems to be that Canon should have included a 1 or 2 GB SD card. It comes with a card of 32 MB of memory. With the cards being so cheap it would not make a significant difference in cost and probably would have made a real "5" rating.

The Ricoh R8 is a 10 megapixel digital camera. It has a 7.1x wide-angle objective. The design is different from the normal digital cameras around, with a retro elegance. Why buy the Ricoh R8? The R8 is a step forward from simple point and shoot cameras. This is true when it comes to quality construction and image quality. Features include image stabilization, a 2.7-inch LCD screen (I found it easier to view even in sunlight) and a value of face recognition for portraits. The colors are very strong and I would rather see these colors in several of my test shots. The shutter lag time of shutter lag is 0.34 seconds for a single photo and 8.98 seconds for five photos.
